Man in red is a fictional story(photo)book. The narrative follows a detective from a shadowy organisation tasked in following a man gowned in a red turtleneck. The motive and origins of this organisation is left ambiguous, so can be said for the man in red himself. The story is meant to be left up to the viewers own interpretation as to what and why things shown as they are. It is also meant to transport viewers into a world that I have crafted within.

PACKAGING + DELIVERABLES
34pp
203mm X 254mm (Case File)
192mm X 250mm (Photos)
In order to add on to the narrative, I had to ensure the packaging is outfitted in a way that matches the detective theme. This packaging is appropriated from old KGB case files. As with immersion and story telling, I wanted the experience to begin not when you start looking at the picture but when you first hold the packaging itself. It was important that I nailed the look and feel of the deliverables as well, mimicking dossier files and even adding biometrics such as real fingerprints to add depth to the overall project.
BRANDING
There is a small branding element added to this project in the form of the organisation the detective is from; The Bureau. Inspired by infamous symbols from real world shadowy organisations such as the Illuminati, I wanted to utilise some of the same design element within the logo of The Bureau itself. The logo itself is rather dynamic, as within the organisation there are multiple disciplines as you will read later on below. I made use of layering to achieve this as you will later see.
